How else do you get your bump stop in the hole?

How about a vice? You could take a 2x6 and drill out some holes to use as a jig on each side, then crank on it with a vice.

Could work.
From the running over that I did to it initially, no matter how much pressure is on top of it, it will not seat itself in.
So using a press or vice probably will not work. I think it is because when it squishes down, it gets wider at the base. The tire install method seemed to be the key for me. I believe it is because most of the BS is already set into the cup. Therefore, when there is pressure on it, it can only widen down and into the metal cup.

For the record, it was Silicone paste, the cup was still on the truck, I was below it on my back pushing up, and it was a bitch to get back in place, fortunately it was only one side.

Something else I thought of that would work, but it would require a piece of pipe the right size. The pipe would have to fit inside of the metal mount, then you would stuff the stop in it and shove it down to the bottom of the pipe. Hold the stop down and pull the pipe from around it.
