Odd fob behavior

The fob for my 2019 XLT will not work in the parking lot at my local grocery store. It works everywhere else, but will not work in this parking lot. Does anyone have an explanation for this?

My guess is that the stores Video Security Cameras are operating on the same frequency band as the FOB or a nearby store.

Same. Some sort of RF interference. At my work, my truck is the same way until I get about five feet from it. Only place it happens. and we have lots of cameras where I park.

Some grocery stores have security devices on one wheel of their grocery carts that locks up when you get to a set distance from the store. Like the security cameras that airline tech mentioned, it might be interfering with your fob.

Walmart does that but that’s because at least one of the wheels is always f-d up

Like the others said, RF interference.

On a side note, I had a really strange one when I was still using the Motorola Android auto wireless deal. There's one spot in my commute to work where there was a detention center off the freeway. My Android auto would disconnect every single time I drove past there.

Check it again...

Apparently, the gov't shutdown is over. It should begin working normally within the next 3-4 business days.
