Hello - Can anyone please tell me where the fuse is for the OBD port? I do not see it on the diagrams in the manual.

Thanks!

Check fuse 15 (10 amp) under steering wheel. Gateway module, data link connector.

Reported as spam, thanks for the heads up.

My fuse is good. So I am assuming faulty cable, obdlink-ex. No lights come on. No ELM found error in Forscan.

Probed #16 for constant power and got 12v. I am assuming this means the pins inside the port are somehow damaged and not making contact with the male pins on the OBD2 tool. Looks like I might have to replace the data link comm module part# JB3T-14F642-BA. If anyone else experiences a no power to the OBD2 port perhaps this will help.

Check fuses F15 and F13 in BCM (under dash fuse box). Also, is the ignition switch on?

If Fuse 15 is good, then check for power to the DLC, as this is the only power source for it
A quick check at the DLC

Check the Pins for integrity as these are easy to push out and or spread out if you are not careful plugging in, you should always kneel down to near level with it, or you risk chance of spreading pins if you remove or install the connection by nature of pulling upwards. This is a common factor.

With Multi-Meter
Numbered 1 -8 Across the Top
9-16 Across the Bottom
Check Pin 16 for Power - 12 Volts
Check Pin 4 to Ground (3 Ohms) Resistance --This is Chassis Ground (G202)
Pin 5 to Ground (3 Ohms) Resistance - This is the Module Signal Ground, that grounds to another ground point, separate from the Chassis Ground (G205)

This will show if you have at least power and ground.

Pins 3 / 6 / 11 / 14 are Communication Bus feeds.

You might try the scanner on another vehicle and see if it powers up on that.

The obdlink-ex cable was bad and they sent a replacement.
