Well, Ford said to go pack sand! Had to have insurance cover it since it was $1,400 to replace the whole back window. Not sure why they couldn't just replace the sliding window...but oh well.

Glad I have it back. Now I have to get the tailgate damper on before anything else breaks!?

Oh well it was worth a shot trying to get Ford to cover it. Now hurry up and get the new one because once you get a damper you might be to weak to open the rear window. ?

i had my entire rear window shatter like that. Thank god I had tinted or else it would have been inside the truck. Ford did nothing for me, “was a act of nature” is what the Ford rep said. Had to file through insurance. Ford has crap glass.

I stared at that first picture for a couple minutes trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with it then scrolled down... Been a long week. What a real bummer but as others mentioned I think you'll be covered. Shit happens. Just know that once you get it fixed you have a damn fine truck

I did the same thing. Was thinking,wow some rain got on the hood. The horror. Then the 2nd pic,and i was looking like an idiot
