i got an asako brand back up camera from amazon or ebay and it was cheap like 40 bucks shipped with tax etc. Came with the cam, screen wire and all the stuff to install. I put it in between the skid plate (fx4 or tremor) and the bumper. faced it down and slightly forward. It is adjustable for zoom and has options for lines on screen as a guide or not. also works at night and has its own little led. I use it for off road to see what is coming up in front of the tires that I cant see from the driver seat. I am typically solo with no spotter or shot gun rider so it has been worth every penny. held up pretty good so far. hundreds of car washes and 20k miles of use on road off road no road been submerged covered in mud and still works. it came with a mount to go on a plate. i tried that first and it was nice but didnt show the lower forward view so i removed it. This is basically it just branded differently. https://www.amazon.com/ZSMJ-Monitor...d=1649728605&sprefix=back+up+,aps,130&sr=8-28

Trail cameras should be standard for off road vehicles. My (not a Ranger :lipssealed:) trail camera is awesome and includes the drive lines that move with the steering wheel angle to show where the wheels ride over. This one is factory option.

Here you go. I’ll probably have to use the provided dash mount bracket. The Tremor upfitter switches make it to tight for the suction cup mount.

Can you
My state either.... the bolt holes are still there regardless. It's not like they are drilled into the bumper, but they are at the top of inside the lower grille. I used then to put a Putco lower grille in

So, yea, use those since you don't have a plate in the way (and the holes are there)
I now see what you mean. Thank you. This cam lines up perfectly with those mounts.

I'll be waiting to hear because now this is yet another thing I didn't need but also can't go without. Sigh. This frickin forum is like having a mistress with how much money I spend and how much I try to hide that fact from the girlfriend lol.

Anyone try wiring one of these into the from grill emblem or using the rear emblems camera housings into the front? Does Forcscan have any new functions to activate a front mounted camera?

Some newer F150s have a front camera mounted behind the 'Ford' Grille emblem - same size emblem as the Ranger I believe. The following is propped for display. The square hole is for the camera lens washer.

I removed my rearview mirror and replaced it with a dash cam set up that I modified. Worked pretty good but took a little hackery to make it look like it somewhat belonged in the cab interior.
