Why does every vehicle manufacturer have their vehicles look like a wedge? Does it increase MPG when they look like they're going downhill.

When I purchased my 2019 Ranger I decided not to level it. That all changed the first time I took it off-road. It amazed me how many times the front end bottomed out. So, here it is after adding a Rough Country 2.5" lift.

Looks great, it sits perfect. Any plans for a larger tire?

Yes, I plan to replace the tires shortly but not sure how much larger I can go.

Form follows function. These trucks are designed to haul and tow. That weight will cause the rear to sag... ideally not sag to the point that it becomes a problem. Therefore when not towing or hauling the truck sits high in the rear.

Trucks that have air suspensions, like the Dodge Ram, can be level when empty, because they can adjust for the loads.

I'm probably gonna go with the 2" level...from what I've read it takes a 3" kit to get it truly level so this would allow light loads without having the nose point up a little. The tires on my truck are pretty good so I'm gonna run them until they need replacing before getting larger ones. The tread life rating of 400 probably means I'll get 3 years out of them or so.

I guess your better off either running what you have until you need new tires then go bigger or get them early while you can get some of the money back selling your like new stock tires.

Agreed. That’s why I had to add a leaf in the rear as soon as I lifted the front.

Cool....This is a pretty heavy "Ford country" area since there are a few plants in the area but you still don't see that many Rangers around yet.
