No codes found

Amazon brought this today , which i actually got for someone else to use but decided to hook it up to the Ranger just to see what I had in there ... no codes were found after it connected up which i thought might be "off" , seams like after 4+years and 25000 miles there should be something stored in there ? Or maybe this is junk ? I mean, damn, ive drove it fairly aggressive at times , I assumed there would at least be some tattle tell codes or something in there ?

The cheaper code readers typically only read engine and emissions codes. They don't read all the modules in the vehicle. Use Forscan and an adapter to see all the modules in the truck.

I thought this one might , since it bragged about "live data" and such ... and it acted like it scanned through a bunch of modules ... i dont have a windows laptop anymore I guess i need to get one... i have a transmission appointment coming up and was HOPING it had some transmission codes so they would do the service bulletin ...
