Hello everyone - excited to have found this board and join the community. Coming here to do a lot of research and learning, and will share what I learn in turn. I am a complete novice when it comes to performing my own work, but I plan on self-performing as many mods as I can.
Spent the last 4 years (170K miles) in an F250 SCREW Diesel rig, but my interests have changed, so went and picked up a 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4 on Friday. I am not a true "overlander", instead I am an avid upland bird hunter. Plan on building an overland-type build in order to get to places most can't or won't; and be able to sustain out there for days at a time. One unique facet of my build will be that I am also catering to hauling around my hunting companions....being dogs....! In my SuperDuty, they were set up in the bed where I had a Decked system with a CargoEase slider and their kennel setup. In this rig, I am planning a bed rack and Decked drawers, so I will be moving them into the cab. (Backseat area.) Still figuring out the exact "how".
I am excited to get going. I will start a build thread as well for everyone to chime in on. However, it may be a bit slower than others; we shall see.
Great to be here!
