Brian @Broid Just a thought but you could always just Plati Dip them for now until you find a set you like. It's super easy to do and it's pretty durable and it touches up easy if needed. You can buy it at Lowes and the good thing is if you don't like it it's easy to peel off.

Quite often offset will vary with the width of the rim.

I've looked at take offs, there are plenty to be had. The tricky part here is this is my wife's truck...and she doesn't like the stock Ford black wheels. Sooo...not finding aftermarket wheels with a 55 offset, so look at +35, seems the closest to a stock fit with a little variety in wheel choices.

I've looked into powder coating what we have, but then you have to bring the wheels in and that leaves the Ranger on blocks in my driveway, unacceptable. Not sure I want a do it yourself project...

You can Plasi Dip the wheels without taking them off the truck. Just spray on several thin layers until it's covered and you're done. Wouldn't take more than an afternoon to do.

Take a look at the wheels Tire Rack offers for the Ranger. In the 17" by 8.5" wide wheels the offset varies from -18mm to 35mm. These are all wheels that Tire Rack say fit a 2020 Ranger.

Howdy, I just bought a 2021 Ranger for the wife and I want to put black wheels on it. My local tire shop said something about not being able to find wheels to fit without modifications. All I want it the same size, mounted on the factory tires, just black. Am I missing something here? Been looking at this... Any reason I can't slap these on without any kind of modifications? Total noob here, so using small words helps...

No reason @ all. Because the stock wheel have +55mm offset and these wheels 0mm offset, they will poke 2" out the sides like outriggers. May super love this look. I do not. I went with 17x10's with +25mm offset and 295/70 tires (I have lift kit). The tires are inside the wheel wells and under the truck, where I like them.

There are several members on here who are selling their black factory 18" wheels from the black appearance package of you would want to go that route.

^ are there any local places in your area. just have them painted Gloss or Mat-Black. I had a local shop in NW Indiana for about $60 a wheel. Had used them in the past and holds up really well ( If the shop is reputable )
Here is a before and after on My F150. There are a few OEM and Aftermarket Black wheels out there for the new ranges too !
