Hey -

Anyone find a good quality, 18", black rim that fits the 2019 Ranger Lariat with stock suspension? I've done a lot of looking online and I have not found any with an offset of 55 (as is stock OEM). Does a wheel spacer need to be used if the offset is not 55?

Strange... Discount Tire claims this one is a "perfect fit" although the offset is 30. They do not mention that a wheel spacer is required. :headbang:

https://www.discounttiredirect.com/buy-wheels/xd-series-xd-818-heist

Seems to be that most of the black wheels offered are 17". The Raptor wheels are cool, but 17".

Would appreciate any good info and/or pics of 18" black wheels on your 2019 Ranger.

Thanks! :)

In all the looking I've done, most companies are manufacturing their wheels in multiple sizes - if you can find a 17" wheel you like, more often than not, there is probably an option for 18" (Fuel, Icon, XD, Black Rhino, etc.). The closest to stock offset I've found is this American Racing wheel with a 40mm offset (https://www.americanracing.com/product/wheels/ar201/?attribute_pa_finish=cast-iron-black), but I'm sure there are others.

You won't necessarily need a wheel spacer, regardless of wheel offset. Someone else can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong or add additional info, but you only need a wheel spacer if you run a wider tire that is at risk of rubbing on any of the suspension or if you want to push the wheel out for a more aggressive stance.

One thing I forgot to mention, you can use tirerack.com for your initial research too (if you haven't already thought of it). That way you can look at several manufacturers and see the specs on the wheels in one place. It can also give you a good idea of what the wheel will look like on the truck. Good luck!

Thank you for thinking of Discount Tire, @BDoc !

Nearly all the aftermarket wheels you'll find for your vehicle will have a lower offset. As you noted, the XD Heist you linked too has a +30mm offset which is lower than stock, which is at +55mm.

The Heist is wider as well (18x9) and will sit about 1.5-inches further out when compared to stock (18x8). A spacer will push the wheel even further out (wheel spacers lower the offset) and depending on the size of the wheels spacer, they may poke the wheels outside of the fender by a good amount. For reference, A 18x9 with ET+30 offset will place the front lip of the wheel about flush with the fender.

On a side note, wheel spacers are common and if installed properly with the right wheels and torque checked frequently, typically won't cause any issues. With that being said, we recommend wheels with the correct wheel dimensions to achieve the look you're after - one less link in the chain so to speak.

Just came across an option you may want to consider @RangerGuy2019 which is the Raceline 942B Addict.

This model comes in 18x8 ET+35 so when compared to where the factory wheels sit now, the 942B Addict will sit less than 1-inch further out (20mm to be exact). The Raceline Surge also comes in the same dimensions.

Appreciate the input, but you may want to direct this at the OP @RangerGuy2019 since he's the one looking for 18" rims. That said, I do like those 942's :like:

Thanks BDoc. Great suggestion. I visited the site and found 4 wheels that I'd consider.
