id guess that the normal civilian zr2 and the military platform have little in common. im sure the military is cherry picking parts and specs. gm just happens to be the one the senators get perks from lol.

the no doors picture reminds me of the am generals hummers. many to start with decades ago were canvas tops and doors, then half doors and so on. then one day it was like - "oh, hey. these go in to combat and unfriendly areas. maybe they should have some sort of protection or cover for the people inside." maybe that is a later step in the process of this new one.

The article says you can buy the military grade parts, axles and stuff, for your ZR2. Though I'm sure military MAP means they are going to be 3x the price you would expect.
