New to me, 2022 Ford Ranger Lariat

A Ranger SuperCab Lariat FX4 501A is rare! I hope to keep my similar, but 301A + Tech pkg Hot Pepper Red SuperCab Lariat FX4 for a long time. The stereo and the driver’s instrument cluster are better on the Lariat 501A.

Finally broke down and bought and setup everything for Forscan. I covered pretty much everything I wanted, I will do a little more research on tire size. But other then that I think I am very happy.
I did:
Foglight on turn
HVAC settings on the right screen in the cluster (I know I cant change it, but I would like to see what my current settings are without hitting any buttons)
Speed limit sign displayed in cluster

I tried tires, but I reverted it because I am an idiot and I am sure I can get that rolling with a couple discussions in the forscan threaads.

Also as a bonus I was able to enable a few things in the wifes Mach-e, so the $69 cable was worth it, my buddy with an f150 is already asking me to come over lol

Ok, tires are now programmed correctly, and turned off the double honk when leaving with the car running. So much happier with everything, now if I could do a real 360 camera .... (that is for another project)

This was a project I have had everything just waiting for me in the garage. Waiting for a warmer day out. Putting in some kill mat, baffles, and upgrading the speakers.


Insane to see the magnet differences on the speakers.

I had a few sheets of Killmat laying around. So I added some on the doors also.

Then there was one thing I have been wanting to do, I am not sure about this one. But I like that I dont have a huge FX4 decal on the truck. But I wanted to have the logo, but something small. So I was able to get this for CHEAP using the ford points I had laying around.

Completed the speaker swap. Installed PNW-65CS2 for the front doors. Did baffles and sound deadening again. But lot less places for the sound deadener then the rear doors. The rears with the killmat by far gave me the largest sound change.
I have swapped maybe 100-150 door speakers, and generally pretty careful but still broke the light bar on the passenger side for my led lights in the doorhandle area. I ordered a new one, its on the way.

update, I replaced the light bar in the door handle for the passenger that was a $55 mistake. but still cheaper then paying someone to do the speakers instead.
