Ordered it already!I just checked the electronic voting machines that all members use when voting in new members, and found a serious discrepancy with the tally of the votes.
it appears there was some backdoor deals going on with the T/G damper crew and they padded the votes to your favor on the account you add a damper immediately. Seems the damper crew was able to multiply their votes exponentially and repeatedly simply by using windows XP and exploiting the vulnerabilities of the Y2K calendar
This is the scandal of the century.
Dampergate has arrived.
To late.....He's already been voted in!

Mine has been on there since October 2019 and is fine. I added a little electrical tape under the velcro so it doesn't slide down. You could just wrap some tape around it a couple times and it'll do the same as the velcro.Nice! How does the velcro hold up? I just ordered the damper!

Looks like not all tailgate cables need a fix with velcro. Mine, for instance, I trained by pushing it out of the way about 3 or 4 toimes. Just purchased a 2019 Ranger XLT earlier this month. I have been spending a lot of time perusing the forum topics and find that there is a lot of information in each thread!

Also be aware that even if you can train the cable, it still may get hung up on the mounting bracket for the damper and get pinched. Some people have used gorilla tape to cover the bracket. I used caulk. Both of those are shown in that damper mod thread.I'll let you know how it goes with mine.
