That would be me. Very happy with my HTs, Firestone LE3s that are a bit bigger than stock.

My son had LE3's on his Jeep Cherokee and they were so great that when my wife's Lincoln needed new treads I put them on that. They've been great on that too.

I wouldn't put them on my Ranger though. I had Nitto Ridge Grapplers and now just changed to Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek's. My Ranger tire choices are bigger, heavier, and noisier so not the right choice for this thread.

I'm just waiting for rain to give them my full endorsement for the 2wd highway warriors on here. In the dry they are better than the stock bridgestones and will last longer. So far so good.

Due to some shenanigans today I tested them going over a curb to escape traffic dumb. They did great with my Houston based version of rock crawling.

My only experience of the Nokian were an all-season car tire on a Corolla. And it performed great on many cold, dark mornings of speeding on winter highways as we went to Kate's many chemo sessions (fast forward to full remission for a few years now).

Those were terrible drives, inevitably running late for a 7AM appointment an hour and a half away.

The Nokian just felt more planted than other tires I've had.

And they did great on a summer trip to Kansas City from Portsmouth.

My tire experience is limited. I loved the Goodyear Wranglers I had on the FJ. We've had three sets of Michelins on two Corollas and they wore incredibly well with good performance.

It's such a subjective thing and there's no one perfect tire. For me, the Nokian seem like high quality with good traction and fairly quiet.

Of course, I have no idea how the Outpost actually handle but I do like that they are made the US.

And at the rate I'm going it'll be a while before I put enough miles on he stock tires (3,300 miles in the first year!) to justify $1,000+ on tires.

First Good News about Kate.

I really liked the Michelin LTX M/S and had them on a G1 Escape and then 2 F150’s. When we got the place at Mt Abram and needed tires again I went with BFG KO2’s and they perform well. So the Ranger left Rowe Ford with KO2’s installed. Mine is a MY22 with about 9K miles so like you it’ll be a while but I like what I see about the Nokias so I need to bookmark them. Thanks for the tip.

I think if I were you, I would look for Michelin Ice-X.

My wife was struggling with traction in the cold months. I bought her some Michelin Ice-X tires and she was right back to her overly aggressive driving self. They wore fine during the summer and were super quiet. But those Ice-X’s were like cleats on ice and snow winter roads.

I'm going to try Falken Wildpeak HT02 for my next tire. They are an aggressive looking all season tire with a 70k mileage warranty. Price is very reasonable.

The Cooper Discoverer AT3 is a good all around tire that looks decent, quiet and wears well. I run the Cooper Rugged Treks due to dealing with mud a lot. I Had the Discoverers before and liked them. But considering you live in a region with lots of snow and I don’t I might not be giving the best advice lol.

The AT3-4S version is the best version of the AT3 for snowy conditions. I have them on my truck, but it hasn’t snowed in Georgia since I put them on . They are wearing very well and are quiet on good pavement. They are a little noisy on concrete roads, but I guess everything is loud on concrete.

Last fall I put on a set of stock size BFG Trail Terrain. Little brother to the KO2's. The are very good in icy conditions and are 3 peak snow rated. Quiet on the road and mileage is about the same. They advertise good for light off road. I do old logging roads and they are good.

I currently have the Michelin Defender LTX's for spring, summer and fall use. I have a set of Arctic Claw studded snow tires mounted on the OE 16" steel wheels.

I am just looking for suggestions to replace the Michelins.
