Hello all,
I love the my new Ranger very much and wouldn't change a thing about it..well..almost nothing.
I wanted to do a Tesla Radio conversion to it but they make the units for everything but the 2019 ranger so thats out.
https://www.phoenixautomotiveinc.com/
I have the small 4 inch sync3 radio and its ok but want to do the following:
Change out the front and rear door speakers to something better. I have read on the forums here that the front speakers are 6.5 and the rears are 6.75. So I think I know which ones I will get.
Im going to leave the door tweeters in and run them off the deck with no amp power.
Since I cant change out the stock unit, I am going to run a kicker smart amp in between the stock radio outputs and the speaker inputs.
My question is, does anyone have the wiring colors for the stock radio outputs to the speakers so i can install the amp myself?
Also, anyone else done this with no issues?
Also, I am running Forscan on an android tablet with a bluetooth OBD connection and I can get the live data just fine but can someone tell me how I can reprogram the system. All I want to do is disable the start stop. That is all.
Can I do that with the forscan app?
For those of you who reply, thanks for taking the time to do so.

In order to update anything using FORScan, you need a windows laptop with the cable. The mobile versions (iOS and Android) are read only.

From the FAQ: https://forscan.org/faq.html#qlic1

What are FORScan versions? What are the differencies?

FORScan for Windows is the main development branch. New funtions, fixes, improvements etc are appled to the Windows version first of all. This version is also base product for testers. FORScan for Windows is distributed under Standard License that has no configuration and programming functions, as well as some service functions. These functions become available after installing Extended License. More information about Standard and Extended Licenses can be read here:Standard and Extended licenses for Windows. Version for Windows is free.

FORScan Lite for iOS and Android are simplified versions of FORScan optimized for mobile platforms. It has no configuration and programming functions,as well as some service functions. FORScan Lite are paid. In order to let users check for basic application abilities and avoid wrong purchase we have created free versions of the app: FORScan Demo for Android and FORScan Viewer for iOS. We recommend to try it before purchasing FORScan Lite to make sure the application satisfies your expectations.

Here is the comparsion table that shortly explains differencies between versions: Comparsion of FORScan applications
