Welcome to the old fart club, Dave! Nice color!Bought my 22 Splash forest green edition (one of 500), brand new Sept of 22, so far it's been stellar...0 issues, only oil changes. It is running the Ford Performance tuner, and is a real kick to drive, hard to believe it's a 4wd SC pick-up that could put my old 85 5.0 mustang GT in the weeds probably while pulling my boat. Just joined up to find out more about rangers, they seem the odd choice in Ford trucks, you either have a Maverick or a F150, rangers seem uncommon. I do think they are superior to tacomas in quite a few ways....I do not miss my company tacoma one bit.

Welcome, great color!! Wish that was an option when I ordered mine, unfortunately I think it was a Lariat only option at the time (??) which I didn't want. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong lol.Bought my 22 Splash forest green edition (one of 500), brand new Sept of 22, so far it's been stellar...0 issues, only oil changes. Boomer truck, as opposed to the tacoma, the flat-biller bro-truck, i give a guy at work crap about it and it really bothers him, I say look! it even says it's a TuRD! .....Ive had Rangers since there were Rangers, first was a 83, had a 84 a 89, a 91, 93, and until 22 a 2002 Ranger, all gave me great service, but the new one is a stand out, the first truck I've ever had that gets 20mpg...pulling a 17ft boat.Welcome Dave,
What a great rare truck you have there.
Someone once asked in the forum if the Ranger was a Boomer truck. I replied, “Maybe not a boomer truck but I think the forum membership might be a tad skewed toward the 4:00 dinner rush demographic - present company included.“
So, yeah, you found the right place and you’re off to a good start in the damper wars. Welcome to The Resistance.
In my parts, RAM seems to hold the all-time bro-truck title.Boomer truck, as opposed to the tacoma, the flat-biller bro-truck, i give a guy at work crap about it and it really bothers him, I say look! it even says it's a TuRD! .....Ive had Rangers since there were Rangers, first was a 83, had a 84 a 89, a 91, 93, and until 22 a 2002 Ranger, all gave me great service, but the new one is a stand out, the first truck I've ever had that gets 20mpg...pulling a 17ft boat.
