Got my Wildpeaks today, just in time for my birthday!
I’ll tell you what, compared to the Bridgestone Duelers that came stock, these tires are already making me feel much more secure on the snow and ice.

They look so much better also!

Happy Birthday!

I just got my XL STX last Week. I had a 2005 Tacoma for 11 years, then got a Mercedes Metris cargo van when I became self employed and needed a lot of inside lockable space. I'm retired now and decided it was time to go back to a pickup. Between my fishing and fossil hunting trips, I end up parking off road often enough that those small tires and low ground clearance on the Metris had me always paranoid about getting stuck. So it was time to pickup shop. I loved the Tacoma I had and considered another, but the Tacoma is way overdo for an update, plus since I've moved to BFE, the nearest Toyota dealer is 40 miles away. So I decided to try this Ranger. The Ford dealer here is 4 miles from my front door.

I really like the Ranger so far. My main gripe is the ride. I don't mind the firm suspension, but every bump seems to bounce the rear tires into the air. That's downright scary on a curve. I haven't had that problem in many, many years, not since I owned a regular cab pickup so many years ago. I've ordered Bilstein 5100 rear shocks. I'm hoping that will keep the rear tires on the ground better. Is the Bilstein leveling kit for the front worthwhile if you're not going to put larger tires on? I wouldn't mind sitting up higher and having the truck more level, but a better ride is mainly what I want.

My only other complaint is all the chimes. Is using Forscan the only way to get rid of chimes? Can you not just disconnect the chime?

Welcome! Beautiful Ranger!

Hello from Maine! I just bought my 2021 Ranger XLT FX4 two months ago and love it! The Cactus Gray combined with the black out package looks really good in my opinion, and prefer it over any of the other "flashier" colors I've seen.

Like your truck too Chris. My 2019 is Hot Pepper Red, but if this were available back then, I might have gone with Cactus Gray. It is a little darker gray than my 1969 Cougar sitting in my garage. That color was Pastel Gray, but it looks more like white, unless it's sitting next to a true white vehicle. But no disputing the gray in the Cactus!

Howdee,

i’m new here, from belgium.
Just got my 2021 ranger raptor in julli.
My previous ranger was 9 years old so due for a change.
I adore my new car, and only found one cullprit yet. As its positioned higher they could have placed longer mudflaps from factory.. now i mess up my car cleaning skills when i drive it..
(I’ll post a question in the right section )
Added a few pictures of my ride, its dirty i know ..

thanks for reading and accepting me

What is and what is the purpose of that black wind guide in the front? Is it to block road grime entering the engine compartment or something?

So many new members - it seems I have some catching up to do. Sorry if I’ve missed anyone.

2021 Ford Ranger Lariat SuperCrew 4x4.
Previously owned a 2010 Ranger.
Hello!

Welcome PV. Staying with the Ranger family, I see - nice!

I've read some threads on the forum, and just finally made an account. 2021 Scab 4x4 XL/STX with 17,000 put on it since I got it brand new in March

Welcome - nice Scab Elliot.

Hello, Steve from Port Moody, BC. Just picked up my Tremor 2 weeks or so ago.
had a deposit on a FX-4 but ford got the tremor in the night before pick up for the same price. So I got luckily and switched over last minute.

Hi Steve - Welcome. I used to meet my buddies at the Port Moody Starbucks and head up Eagle Mountain and over to Bunzten Lake on some great MTB rides.

Hi everyone, first time Ranger owner here. It was finally time to trade in my beloved Crown Victoria for something newer and more practical for my life nowadays. Picked up a 2021 Cactus Gray XL STX earlier this week, and other than a few very minor issues, I am quite happy with the truck.

Jim, Welcome - looks great.

Mike, long time off roader, 06 LJ Rubicon. Just bought a 21 Tremor but have yet to take delivery, but should be any day. This is supposed to be my daily driver, but I can already see mods in my future, especially those side steps will be the first to go, we'll see what's next.

Welcome Mike - let the mods begin!

Future Ranger owner in Vancouver BC, Ordered on sept 30, 2021 and have a build date of January 10th 2022, Should be here in February if all goes to plan.

Hi Steve - hang in there - patience is a virtue.

What’s up, name is Andrew. New to the group… Got my 2020 XLT a few months ago and I love it! Haven’t done anything more than cosmetic, but I look forward to learning from you guys, as this is my first truck. Have some Falken Wildpeak tires on the way, these stock tires aren’t handling the Alaskan snow as well as I’d like.

Welcome Andrew - tires are a gateway mod - hold on tight to your wallet.

Hello. I’m Matt. From Utah. I got my 2121 lariat three weeks ago. Traded in my 19 xlt with tech pack ,crome pack and max tow package. So far loving the size of the ranger , and I’m missing the extra size of my f150. So far I’ve enjoyed it.

Hey Matt - welcome - sometimes, size isn’t everything.

Hello all! Howdy from Montana. Finally picked up my Ranger from the dealer.2021 XLT FX4 w/Black Appearance Package. Traded in my 2015 Tundra for it. Looking forward to adding to the community. Farewell picture of the tundra

Could that truck be any shinier?! Welcome Bud

Welcome Pedro. Beautiful truck you have there. I do wish Ford would allow us to have the Raptor in the states. Enjoy

Welcome to the peanut gallery Bud. Love the color of that Ranger, but some say I many be a bit biased. You are correct, these things do ride like a truck. Just a suggestion, check the psi in your tires. Many dealers PDI people never check, and they come from the factory with to much air. Mine had right at 40 pounds in every tire. Yep, I could feel a leaf if I ran over it. Enjoy that Ranger.
