Just order a 501a saber with tow and fx4 packages; already making a list of accessories but don’t even know when to expect a VIN or how to track it when I do.

Not necessarily a Ford and nothing but a ford guy, but all my trucks have been fords; starting with an old 76 F-150 as a first time driver. Have gone super duty to F-150 now to ranger as an adult. Just don’t need the bigger truck and was going to midsize even if ranger didn’t come along

Just moved back after being in Texas for almost 20 years.

We have had the Ranger in Manila for years now, I am about to take delivery of my Ranger Raptor.

If you are interested in the difference in the models, just let me know and I'll answer your questions and post pictures.

We currently have a Ranger XLT-2.2 Diesel, Ranger Wildtrack-2.2 Diesel and an Everest-3.2Diesel(Ranger SUV).

Raptor-2.0 Biturbo Diesel should be here this week.

Hi all, my name is Bret. I'm new to this forum but not to Ranger pickups. I hope to order number 7 tomorrow but im having hard time deciding between Hot pepper red and Platinum white. Looks like new one will be Lariat super cab 4x2 ,501a, trailer tow ,keypad,and locking rear. I have a 2017 Taco sport 4x4 so I don' need another 4wd. What do owners think of medium stone leather? I cant find one on the lot to compare.I guess after I order tomorrow it will be hurry up and wait. Thanks bret

From my understanding the Medium Stone Leather is used in a number of other Ford vehicles so if you want to see it in person you could probably just check a different model.

2019 Ford Ranger XLT, Supercrew, Shadow black, 4x4 (not an FX4), 300A trim, electronic locking diff, tow package, remote start. Dealer said spray-in bedliner could delay it 2 weeks so having it Line-Xed locally for same price.
I've got a couple of questions;

What tires come standard on a 4x4 XLT that's not a FX4? All-terrain or regular.

Does this come with key ignition (please!)?

With remote start, I thought I read that start/stop is disabled, is that correct?

Dealers seem to like pushing their own bedliner, I assume they're getting some kind of kickback. Nobody with a recent build seems to be showing any signs of bedliner-related delays.

Welcome!

XLT comes with a key ignition. Auto start/stop is on all models no exceptions, but it can be temporarily disabled with a button.

Non FX4 tires = ?IDK?
Real ignition key = Yes
Auto start affecting start/stop whatsoever = No

Ordered Lariat, Crew Cab, 4x4, Hot Pepper Red, 501A, FX4, Sport Appearance Pkg, Running Boards, Tow Pkg. Ordered Feb 18, 2019. Now the long time frame of waiting. No Vin yet. From looking @ order list in relation to delivery list, guess I will b waiting a while longer.
Have been spending some of my waiting time looking/reading info on this sight since wife and I ordered a new 2019 Ford Ranger. Have been making an attempt to get informed on how things are going with start-up USA #2 production of the Ranger. Info I have gained has been very informative and a Big Thank You to all that have provided the info.

Hello all, been lurking here for a while but have been drooling over the ranger since Ford announced they were bringing it back. Lots of helpful information in forums including advice about X-plan pricing through MCA (I used this along with the military incentive to buy mine). This past Monday, I brought home a Lariat in Shadow Black. This is my first truck but my brother had a couple of Rangers back in the day. I love it already! I contemplated ordering but bought from dealer stock (I had to travel a bit to find what I wanted). Super Crew, 501a, FX4, trailer tow. First mod was LineX platinum (would have saved some $ with premium but the only place I could find in town only offered platinum - looks beautiful, though). I'm sorely tempted by photos of those who have added the raptor-style grille! The Connecticut Joe grille offered on Ebay looks amazing! Though without the sport package, if I black out my grille, will have to do the same to the fender vent badges, tailgate livery, wheels, etc.. Thanks for all of the helpful info!!
