Aloha everyone? I'm born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii and just joined a few days ago to get some info. I currently drive a 2014 Focus ST full stage 3 with a custom Stratifed tune that I've wrenched and have been using as my daily driver for the last 5 years. It's the best daily driver I've ever owned and could drive that thing around the island all day, but with my lifestyle and being a family man, It's time I go back to my truck roots.
I'm not a "brand" guy, but lately Ford has ticked all the boxes for me and thus here I am. I was very interested in the 2021 Hybrid F-150 being that its a rolling generator and gets great mpg for a truck, but it is a bit out of my price range. I usually nerd out researching whatever I am interested in before I purchase, and after a month or so, the Ranger just fit for what I need. The thing that cemented it for me was the Tremor package. All around value for product seems unmatched from what I've seen out in the mid-sized segment.
I plan on putting in a special order tomorrow morning when I take my ST in for a recal check. (It's been done months ago but hasn't been logged) I have a X-plan as well as the Costco Auto Program so I will be using one of those upon arrival and hopefully have some incentives by then. I plan on ordering a Black 21' Lariat Tremor with all the bells and whistles. With that said, any advice before ordering would be greatly appreciated.
I learned a lot and found a great group of people from the FocusST.org Forums, and hope I have the same experience here.
On a side note, I noticed the Local Section of the forum, there is no place for Hawaii Ohana! The 50th state like represent too! If I missed it, please point me in that direction. If not, could a helpful Admin create one for us? I promise I'll try my best to keep it lively ?‍♂.
Sorry for the long post, take care everyone! Aloha!?

Welcome and nice looking ST. Don't forget the tow package when you place your order if you ever want to tow. In the Lariat 501A, Tremor and tow package seems to be the ticket.

Welcome! Let me know if you need me to come visit :like:

My wife has informed me we should at least consider moving to Hawaii when we retire. So I probably need to do some research.
Thanks! Not really a good place to move to atm. Housing is a major problem and prices are crazy atm at least on Oahu. One of the outer islands would be a better place to retire imo.

Thanks! Yes I had towing package a part of the “bells and whistles”. Just left the dealership and put in my order. Now comes the worst part...the wait...super excited though!

Congrats! You're going to like it. I drove one today at my local dealer. Waiting for the next gen Ranger Raptor if it ever gets to NA.

Hello all! Been lurking since I ordered my 2021 Carbonized Gray Lariat Tremor on 3/13 with tow package, spray-on bed liner, and hard folding tonneau cover. Looking forward to some mods and playing with FORScan when I get the truck. Long wait though...8-12 weeks.

Congrats! Lmk how you like it. Was tempted to get the retractable tonneau as well but probably going to find a after market one later on. Can’t go wrong with the grey either btw. I’m hoping Ford gets their tuner for 2021 ready before delivery as well. Good luck!

Thanks Spngr! Will do. I too thought about retractable vs. hard-folding. But the retractable ones (even the Ford installed ones) cover a bit of the rear window when retracted. Gonna try the hard-fold and hope I don't regret it. :frown: Yeah, I'm digging on the color. Thought about the blue or the race red, but decided to go a bit incognito this time.

Hey everyone, been creeping around here for a couple months. Picked up a 2020 XLT STX a few weeks back and I'm excited to get working on it. Last truck I had was a 2020 TRD Off-Road Taco and I hated it so much I only had it for 6 months... Unfortunately I dumped way too much money into the suspension and what not. Anyway, I'm here and loving the Ranger so far. Maybe I'll keep t his one a little longer!

New guy here. Picked up my 2021 Ranger XLT Sport Supercrew 4x4 last week.
My trusty Dakota of 19 years went down the road elsewhere. It was a nice truck, but gas mileage was terrible.
So I'm back to a Ford truck (had an F-150 for quite a few years prior to the Dakota).
Carbonized Grey to keep with my running streak that my trucks are dark grey, and my cars are red (except a silver Malibu and I gave that to the daughter, so I'm back on track of red cars).
Was raining today, so just a simple pic (not that it looks any different than any other one of same spec!)
Mods on the way -- nerf bars, bed mat, and yes the ever popular tail gate assist kit.
Next, need to order the Access Cover. Had one on the Dakota and liked it. Had a topper on the F-150 and liked it too, but can's see the value in a $2-3k topper.

2021 Ranger XLT FX4 supercab
Greetings from the North. Just above Washington on the west coast to be exact (Langley, BC). I'm waiting to join the blue oval family and the wait is killing me! I ordered a super cab XLT-FX4 (302A) in Cactus gray . I optioned it with a spray in bed liner, tow package and upgraded to the 18" machine Aluminum wheels. So basically a Lariat. I'm jealous that the US can option a Lariat Super Cab and us Canucks can't.

None the less, I'm 2 weeks in on an estimated 10-12 week delivery window. This will be replacing my 2003 Nissan Frontier 2.4L 5spd. She's been good but she's getting tired.

Other vehicles include a 1974 pro street AMC Gremlin X and a 2015 Ducati 899 Panigale.

2020 Ranger XLT blackout on black
Hi all. We traded in a new '97 Ranger Supercab after 10 months since we were expecting our first child (those jump seats weren't gonna work for a baby seat). After years of regret, we were finally able to return. My wife is a West Texas girl who only feels right in a truck, so we managed to haul in this 2020 XLT blackout. My first and lasting impression is that it's a tough looking truck with lots of tech goodies (way more than I expected). I've already pulled some great knowledge from this forum and it's great to be here. I'm planning on some minor touches (hood protector, maybe a bull bar and/or some lights), but it may take a little while. While I inherited my wife's 2016 Tucson (great for commuting), I'm really digging this truck. Cheers!
