I’m new to this world, selling my Audi S5, felt like it was time to go for capability instead of speed, to be able to ride any terrain, through snowstorms and go everywhere. I’ve been thinking of a truck for over 3 years.
I’m in love with my new Ranger!
Started with a Retrax bed cover, Bulletpoint dash mount, Front Runner roof rack and a Dometic harness.
Into the Rabbit hole we go!

A Ford guy for decades since my first car... A used barn find 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL.... The Ranger is just what I needed and wanted...Fantastic so far... Will be spending for all my wanted accessories and performance mods soon....

Just bought a new to me 21' ranger with the FX4 package. Had a 17' colorado Z71 before and I have to admit....my ranger is better...way better!

I'm leaning very much toward the Ranger even though, as I said, I have a Maverick AWD FX/4 on order. The Maverick fits my budget better so if I move to a Ranger it would have to be a used one.

Yep, two Med cruises, two North Atlantic cruises and five GITMO cruises.

as for the maverick ive never driven one or even sat in one. But i really like my ranger. If you need a truck more than car my pick would be ranger. if you need a car but the ability to use the pickup bed now and then the maverick is the way to go.

The major issue for me as well is the fact I am tall and a klutz so I whack my noggin' practically every time I get in and out of a low vehicle. The Maverick is only 14" to the bottom of the door as opposed to my 05 Ranger FX/4 GEN3 which is 21-1/2". A great height for me. Easier to get in and out of. The Ranger GEN5 is 20" to the bottom of the door with stock tires so that is close enough for government work.
