And the M2M honeycomb. The wife likes it.

Also I didn’t break any of the exploding plastic tabs… I know I know please hold your applause ?. So now I have three extra of those things incase I break one doing something else.
Very glad I did the M2M insert to fill in the front bumper. That opening always bugged me.

took me about a 1/2 a beer. And… I too broke zero tabs. (Which is not the norm for me.)

Glossy black wheels with a bit of red accents will look awesome wrapped with some chunky boy 33x12.5’s..
The height and look is on point..like a just right feeling..
I haven’t taken off the suspension to even look yet, but I’ve heard the tremor fox’s (upfront) have a little 1” spacer up front. Can you confirm the accuracy of that?
Did you have to remove a slim spacer before the 2” spacer was installed?

camburg has a front end set with fox or kings and either of their UCA’ (kinetics -$$$$- or tubular -$$$-)
Is +3” the same as putting a 2” spacer..
(Camburg makes the specific reference that the coil overs provide an additional 1.5” lift over the tremor but 3” over stock non-tremors).

I’d like to maintain half of the oem rake so maybe a little 1” - 1.5” block in the rears… and of course slightly longer (than the oem fox) shocks…..
The bils shocks you got have a awesome price point..
Rob, who owns Ford Ranger lifts and fabricated those spacers specifically for the tremor is a great guy! He was telling me that his spacers, and the way that geometry works, ends up being that the spacer is 2:1. Maybe I should put it the opposite way but anyways, the spacer at 1 inch provides 2 inches of height

FYI, he sells a 1 inch spacer as well. They are top quality. But if you have a brand you like, I’m not trying to sway.

Rake:
I definitely still have the rake! It makes sense obviously since I went 2 inches all the way around. However because there’s so much space in those wheel wells, it almost looks like more lol.

Since you want to keep the rake, but want it to be a little less, me personally I would go with the 2” coil spacer in the front like I did, and then a 1” block in the rear. I think that was accomplished the same thing, just a little lower in the back but you never know…

That might be what I do if it turns out that the rake is intense even after I put on those wheels and tires!

it’s very tempting to go with more extensive upgrades that you mentioned seeing, as it would be quite the set up! I actually love the idea! For the time being I can’t justify that unfortunately ($$$). I feel the same as I think you do regarding my set up; bang for the buck, an extra 2 inches of ride height, along with a better quality ride due to those rear shocks, I can’t think of a way to beat that cost for a decent upgrade!

Height (relative to others):
My truck is actually taller than quite a few full-size trucks and they are definitely 4 x 4’s. As long as they aren’t the AT4 models, I’m above those GMC’s and Chevys most of the time! I just like the feeling. I’m gonna love when I have tires that are pretty much 2.5 inches taller than what I have and then I get to sit 1.25 inches higher than I already do! Plus I’ll have a huge grin as I see the wider track from the fender flares and the tire sticking out probably another inch or so when I look out my side view mirror!

I don’t remember the Slim spacer part so I’ll have to take a look. Everything‘s been a blur because I’ve just been going nuts on my house (when I built it I pre-wired cat6 everywhere along with speaker wires and I’m putting that to work… Plus I need to make a few more drops, which is a real pain in the ass), and then there’s the truck which I am always adding to… And then I have my office which I’ve been upgrading. Never ending but totally worth it!

I’ll throw a picture of the wheels, because you’re right I think they will look amazing!

I’ll also throw a picture that I found of a Ranger that looks like it has roughly the same amount of ride height and is on 33 x 12.50 tires. I think you’ll see why some moderate fender flare auditions will look even better! The whole truck will look wider… I noticed that that’s what Ford does for their more aggressive trucks. The Raptors all have these really great looking fender flares in addition to I believe wider fenders themselves.

those look pretty much as I was expecting black with the voids having a little red.. I was looking at similar ones… but I decided on the roush bronco/ranger wheels 17x8.5 +25mm offset… supposedly 33x12.5’s will fit them but I haven’t looked into LT tires other than 285/70’s and 285/75’s… it’s said on roush that the bronco tire recommendation is 35x12.5 so 33’s should fit the wheel just fine..

The spacer idea would be great if I’d jumped on it sooner.. however I’m also already at 50k and gonna be due for rebuild or replace pretty quickly of the oem fox shocks…
Figured I’d use this opportunity to upgrade.
And I’ve been lucky to not have had any serious issues happen that have caused a out of pocket expenses, that’s helped with setting aside a little here and there.. but it adds up almost 3.5k for a tire/wheel package and just about the same for the suspension.. (understand why my wife looks at me crazy sometimes ?.).

oh I hear ya on that 3.5 K cost and the looks we get!

I have definitely seen that 12.5” fit just fine on an 8.5 inch wheel!

I just think the 33 x 12.50 will look amazing! Honestly, I think it will be perfection!!

Now to get it done!

Sorry I didn’t answer your question

I can’t imagine a better shock on the back of least than these right here (I’m attach a picture of the shocks which are on another post but also the ones from where I bought it)

I’m not sure what to do about the front because I really want as close as a match as possible to my rear shocks. There is a notable difference and I absolutely love the feel of those rear shocks. It improved the ride, the cornering, and it’s pretty wild and probably because the suspension is progressive, but this thing corners like it’s on rails yet it’s soft and comfortable when it needs to be

and yes, I just realized that that’s my truck on the example pics from the vendor website?

Other mod I’ve been tossing and turning about at night is roush exhaust vs borla S type… honestly I want to hear the roush in person if it sounds as good as the borla I’d get the roush since there’s a part of it that can be removed making it like a over axle turn down… being in cali basically we are restricted to only getting the roush intake (as far as I know) since it’s the only one with carb eo..

Those were absolutely the two exhaust systems I was looking at! For my taste, both of them are just so top-notch and I just don’t see any peers.

I originally loved the idea of the dual rear exit, but I didn’t care so much and the two I saw were MBRP and Gibson.

I had an MBRP cat back and the packing material blew out with the quickness and sounded like hell! Replaced that muffler with a pipe. Gibson wasn’t quite my sound…

Borla & Roush! Those two are both symphonies to my ears! They are quite loud on a cold start and when you hammer down, but under an easy load and just cruising, you really don’t even hear it in the cab. It’s a great combo. I was listening to some clips and they have very similar sounds on the cold start.

When you say intake, you’re talking about a cold air intake, right? The reason I ask is that NOW I am starting to see more CAIs with CARB EO numbers.

Anyways, I went with the
Mishimoto Performance Cold Air Intake with Dry Filter
That has a CARB EO.
I like it and all but I was surprised not to hear more of the turbo spool. Oh well…

It will be interesting what you go with! I will definitely be awaiting your review!
