I need access behind the driver side kick panel to run some wiring to the fuse box. This is the panel immediately to the left of your left foot when you are in the driving position. It is adjacent to the fuse panel.

I assume it pops off but I'm leery of just tugging the crap out of interior panels and breaking something.

Any ideas? Tips? Reccomendations?

Grab and pull toward the rear of the truck. Can be a little violent when it releases.

Pop off cover just to side of driver seat. It is what you step over. Mounts in three sport. Lift end toward back of car slowly and work forward. They should pop out but can break. Once removed you will see how to remove the part you mentioned. It connects toward rear. Once this is loose. Slide it back.
If a clip breaks you can easily get new ones.
