Navigation prompts volume

All of a sudden the volume of the voice of Navagation was barely a whisper! I looked and looked in all the menus trying to find how to adjust the volume, could not find it. Turned to Ford Owners and I found this:

Here’s how to adjust the volume of the navigation voice:

• Use dashboard or steering wheel controls:
  
  
  • Wait for the navigation voice to begin speaking.
    
  • Before the voice finishes giving directions, use the volume knob or buttons located on your dashboard or steering wheel to adjust the volume.

Pretty simple but not intuitive.

Yea, GMC/CHEV pickups are the same way including when in phone calls to adjust the volume it has to be during the call.
