Speed Compensating Volume

Hello everyone, The speed compensating volume isn't working in my truck. I've searched to see if anyone else has had this problem and didn't see anything. Not sure if I just need to rephrase my search. I have a 2020 Lariat that I got a little over a month ago. I've switched the speed compensating volume levels and no difference when driving. I've been in other vehicles that have had this function and it worked fine. I reset my radio and I don't have any Fob's set up for Mykey. I shut the truck off after making a change and restarted it with no difference. I went to a dealer and talked to the service guy. When I asked about it he looked at me like I had three heads and didn't appear to know what I was talking about. Has anyone found a fix for this or will I just have to bite the bullet and take it to the dealer and let them burn a tank of gas driving it to see if they can fix it? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Fred, every vehicle I've owned, and own now with that seems to work as I think it should. It's so subtle I can't even tell it's there. My Ranger is the same way.

I just went out and played with mine and it has four settings: Off, Low, Medium and High. Mine was set to High so I tried all of them and it didn't change anything, ie. that function doesn't work on mine. So it looks like I had tried them all once before and gave up, leaving it on High. I know that in my Lincoln it is very subtle like @wanted33 mentions but in my Fusion it was very noticeable and I loved it. I would have the radio blaring, with the sunroof open, flying down the highway and when I would stop at a light it got nice and quiet like I was talking on a phone.

Huh, I don't know that I've looked into it, but mine doesn't seem to do squat.

Have to look again but I think I even saw a setting somewhere for speed compensating volume on the turn signals.

Thanks everyone for the info.
Glad to know that my hearing isn't that bad, but I still hear any difference with it on high setting.

Don't know why FORD would even put this as an option if the volume change is so miniscule you can't hear a difference.

Did they even bother to test this option to see if it worked properly before they put it into production?

They need to start over and check out a competitors vehicle that has this option to see how its supposed to work!

Sorry for going on about this. Just hate having things that DON'T WORK in a NEW VEHICLE; even on something as petty as this!
