I could tell you, but then I’d have to….
the screen was too big and I couldn't see them. I don't want to look at the pics again... I just cleaned up the drool
????
Blinded by the light! I get it! With the size of the screen, when you close the door and the interior lights dim you feel like you’re at the theater and the movie is going to start!

The crew over on the Bronco forum was excited when I posted over there. They’re hoping many of the features end up on the Bronco during a mid cycle refresh…

If it's $80K here I'm out. lol Heck I only paid $100K for my house when I bought it on a short sale. Now way I'd spend that much on a truck. Only good thing is I'm "supposed" to be getting it for msrp but I'll believe it when I see it.
I’ll be watching very carefully… since I can’t bring this one home I’m definitely interested in the Raptor when I get back in ‘25. Should hopefully be enough time for everything to shake out

The auto dim on the center screen and the driver info screen is fantastic. It also has a setting where you can select a black background instead of the typical light ones for nighttime driving. Dimmer controls for the dash lights also work really well. You can balance and customize it a hundred different ways. There’s also some great ambient lighting on the doors, dash storage tray and floorboards that balance the cabin very well in the dark. Easy on the eyes without being too soothing and putting you to sleep!

Like many others, it was a NO for me based on the look of the front. But now I'm beginning to like it.
What do you get there? The 2.0 turbo = 10spd? How much difference between the 2.0 and 2.3Eco we get?

I was jealous until that giant screen popped up. I'll stick to fiddling with my knobs. I'm just trying to delude myself
Careful, fiddling with you knob while driving could get you arrested for public indecency.

Basically 4 options on the Ranger here. There’s a 2.0 4 cyl single turbo diesel, a 2.0 twin turbo diesel 4 cyl, a 3.0 V6 diesel, and the 3.0 gas V6 that’s in the Explorer ST and the Bronco Raptor back there. It’s only available in the Ranger Raptor however.

My WildTrak has the 2.0 twin turbo. It has some serious torque, can tow 7500 pounds comfortably, and is getting around 31 mpg. Tank size gets me around 800 miles highway. The 2.3 I have in my Badlands Bronco has a lot more spunk but less torque. For what the Bronco is though the engine is great. Would I like a little more speed out of the Ranger? Yes, but it’s got plenty of pep and is a good all around performer.

Yes, the 10 speed auto is attached, still with the ability to go to a manual mode if you want, which I’ve done when playing around off road, especially climbing out after a couple really sketchy looking river crossings!

Congrats, it looks great!! I'm looking forward to seeing the 6G here later this summer. More specific the Ranger Raptor as I really hope to get one. Good luck with yours and let us know how you like it after you get some miles on it.
What the heck, Dave (@AzScorpion), are you getting a Ranger Raptor, a Ranger PHEV or a Bronco? Or are you getting all three?

Howdee gang! Introducing myself as the owner of a brand new Gen 6 Ranger WildTrak. Picked it up on 12 January 2023 and gotta say, most of y’all are going to love it! I say most because after being on other forums for my Bronco, Jeeps, and Raptors, I know there are those on forums that basically hate everything!

Initial shakedown cruise showed that even bone stock this is one tough truck. We ended up covering the entire range of conditions: pavement, gravel, dirt, mud, deep loose sand, multiple river crossings, steep climbs coming out of the river up sandy and rocky embankments. You name it, we likely crossed it. Did great!

Phenomenal interior. Great ride. Great tech. More to follow but initial thoughts all include “wow.”

Unless it has a damper, I don't want to hear it!

Congrats! And loads of envy from me!

I'm going for the trifecta. ?

The Bronco is more than likely not going to happen because of allocations and Ford doing away with the price protection this year. I'd really like a PHEV Ranger but if I have a chance to get the Raptor reasonably priced I'll go that route then go for a PHEV Ranger down the road. Of course I get board easily and all this could change tomorrow. ?
