But people out here have been "Raptoring" Subarus, Chrysler 300s, Minivans, you name it and someone has found a way to lift it, put some BFG ATKO tires on it, and then boost it. Complete with lights and an adventure rack.
I don't think there's enough of a market to manufacturer a car for it, like the Mustang but there might be enough demand for some aftermarket support. Maybe.
I like the heavy-handed cynicism in the phrase "expect to pay more for mudflaps"; it speaks to how we're now being nickel-and-dimed for things which a few short years ago were considered standard.
I was a participant in the very 1st 4wheel and off road nationals 41 years ago and 2 guys came up from Florida with 2 different Mach 1 mustangs that they put on top of custom and lifted 4x4 chasis'. They looked pretty bad ass, but I really struggle once again with all of these manufacturers who crank out new models and still can't complete a vehicle as ordered by the customer .
I just wish Ford would pick their lineup and stick with it. This introducing 15 new models every year and delivering a pile of autos that need warranty work because they failed to get it right before mass producing is getting old and fast!
i dont mind the idea, but man will they ever get their creativity with names back again?
Pretty soon well have the ecosport lightning raptor mach E1 coming soon
good grief... Ford cannot seem to come up with new name plates anymore. they just add raptor, edge, wildtrak, tremmor etc.
im still holding out for the ecosport raptor sasquatch limited.
