Evening all, my 2018 3.2 wildtrak has an issue every time we’re out and it rains. After a few more minutes of anything more than a bit of drizzle, I lose Hill start - abs - park pilot - lane assist & one or two other bits. Without fail once everything drys out, everything clears and back to business as usual. Is there a control unit that houses all of these connections that’s been getting water ingress ?
Or would a dodgy connection underneath short the lot out ? It seems improbable an ecu is getting wet.

You got some wiring corroded and/or sensors getting blocked by water.

I usually get that only in mud when the sensors get blocked by mud splashes.

Checked the errors on my Ford Pass related to these:
- Downhill error
- Hill climb error
- Power transit error
- Front collision error
- Engine malfunction error

Might be also that the front camera is being blocked by rain drop for front collision etc. alerts.

It would help if you scanned for DTC codes to help in troubleshooting.

I think a deeper - description is needed:
Drys Out = Stops Raining, no rain on Windshield and CCM?
or
After some time has elapsed and Dry Roads, Giving Time for a Connector or Module to dry out?

If only when Raining - Suspect CCM or IPMA getting blocked errors
If after time has elapsed, suspect CCM (Connector/Module) or ABS Speed Sensor getting wet.

As already mentioned, Scan for Codes, most likely will have to scan with the faults active, as they may clear (and not be in memory)
