When I receive a text in sync I will receive 3 rapid fire one right after another. I will get the text from the person who is sending me a text, then a random text that I received in the past, sometimes years old, then a text saying “use code 856574 to disable iMessage reply stop to cancel.
I do not have an iPhone or use iMessage. I have a pixel 3.
I had an iPhone about 5 years ago but it was destroyed.
I do have an iPad, but it’s not a cellular model that can receive calls and I have disabled all form of communication on it. I use it to surf web on the couch over WiFi, like right now.
I have googled this and gone on apple website and made sure my phone number was no longer associated with apple at all.
my previous vehicles had Uconnect and I never had this issue before.
No clue where to go from here. Any input appreciated.

Did you connect your handset to the play connector of headset and sync? Is this handset what you paired to sync 3 and mypass?

I paired my phone in sync using add a phone via Bluetooth
I have my pass on this phone too and that seems to work just fine

Think it’s looking for the hardwired paring. It’s part of what I did when I first set it up. Then later added Bluetooth, WiFi. The sync3 I think works off cell connection even if you don’t subscribe to it
