What am I listening to? You simply removed the muffler and that's it? Shoot that is still pretty quiet but sounds great. Much better than those bolt-on exhaust systems. Doing something like that would be too much of an enticement to roll the windows down and drive it like a GTI. Must.resist.the.urge.

You got that right ! Remove the muffler and bend a straight pipe to the resonator any muffler shop can do it for you. (old EcoBoost mustang trick) the resonator is enough.

Not sure why you would want to do that other than to announce to your neighbors that you are home, or leaving. To me it sounds like a weed-whacker. A V8 would be a whole different sound. To each his own though.

I live in the woods, no neighbors, typical 4 cylinder sports car sound, and it is very quiet just more throaty and not a daily driver....regards

I don’t ride it much it’s a drag bike...I’m getting kinda old for that Too !

I went to gunship school at Lockbourne AirForce base in Columbus during the Vietnam Nam era, the base isn’t there any more, I guess it’s used for something else now.
