Anyone running this?

I'm trying to decide what all I want to do in regards to exhaust. Downpipe plus catback something, just not sure yet! I like the side exit, before the tire look. Honestly though, I'm not looking for loud! Don't want her sounding like a Honda!

I have yet to hear any aftermarket exhaust that sounds better than the stock set-up.

They all sound, in varying degrees, like a little 4 banger tuner cars exhaust.

And a muffler delete, on a 4 banger, will sound horrible.... guaranteed.

But I'd still like to hear a sound clip...
That's why I haven't done anything to the exhaust yet!

Another thing to keep in mind, even more so since you have a SuperCrew, is routing the exhaust in front of the rear tire can result in exhaust fumes in the cab, especially if you're a "windows down" kind of person.

There's good reason why Ford spent the money to route the tailpipe behind the rear axle.

Another reason I love this forum! I happen to be a windows down kinda guy....

Thanks for the input man!

I did the Apollo GT axle back from AFE, and I think its pretty awesome. Coming from primarily large diesel powered vehicles this makes it fun. With the rest stock it doesn't have really much of a drone, when you down shift a couple gears on hills you hear it. in Sport mode or select shifting the rev matched down shifts sound amazing to me. on cold starts it is super deep mellow tone on the end. WOT really isnt bad in cab, back window down sounds pretty good though. I have almost always despised the evo/wrx crowd for their exhaust sounds, but I guarantee this is a different sound altogether. It sounds good to me for the cost.
I didnt go the "delete" route from AFE for fear of drone, but I think the side exit on these would look good.

My end reasons for choosing this exhaust:
-got a black friday deal for $250.
-Stainless
-straight section that allows for the change to an almost endless possibility for 3" mufflers or resonators if need be. (honestly like the sound as it is)

Will work on a video.

Any time! if I get the chance ill get some driving videos for you. Honestly like I said if you have it in sport and do some manual downshifts its sounds pretty cool. at about 15mph you drop it to first it will even hit the BOV, which I have VTA so its pretty cool.

Go to my posts and look for “muffler delete “ it’s around page 10 and (it’s a sound clip) it was the first thing I did..just removed and re welded. ( Mike re posted it ) Pardon the extra stuff it was my first attempt at video....
Regards

Me, being a bit "long in the tooth,..... it reminds me of an early 70's Ford Pinto.

I'm thinking about doing a resonator delete, I had good luck in the past with my old Focus.
