Hi all, wondering what options exist for upgrading the stock 4" radio in my 2019 STX. I've seen several people install aftermarket units but the wiring and splicing required for those is a little intimidating. I've also seen the plug and play 4D Tech option that includes the 8" SYNC display with OEM bezel. The price for that kit is pretty crazy and I don't really care for the nonfunctioning dual climate controls.
Is there anything that maintains my stock climate controls while giving me an updated media center with navigation? I've seen a few threads mention iData adapter cables that might help make some more aftermarket units plug and play but I'm not 100% sure what is or what it does. Sorry if there is a thread that covers most of this already but the info seemed kinda scattered.
I have a rear camera and front and back parking sensors if that makes a difference. Thanks, y'all!
