You couldn't see the FLPA PID with Forscan? It shows up in the Forscan screenshot in post #18 above.
No, I do not have that same PID from the screenshot in post #18

I think what we are trying to convey to you is try a different search other than Fuel , such as Low or Pressure or simply FLPA , this is the point of my dislike of Forscan - it may take some coaxing of the PID name to get it to display - IDK if you have tried other names , if I had some free time I would check with mine but been very busy

Another thought to try is load a NEW profile and see if it will then display

Another thought - does Forscan list a module titled OBD or OBD2 (OBDii ) it just may be buried in that module address

Here is a quick video of all the fuel related PID'S that show up for me;

As a test, I connected my laptop to my 2019 Ranger. It initially didn't list FLPA either. I deleted the profile for my truck and reconnected to it. It asked if mine was a 2019 or 2020 MY. I selected 2019 and connected to Forscan. I was then able to see FLPA listed and was able to monitor the low pressure fuel pump PSI value. You may have to do the same.

Make sure that you have the latest version of Forscan.

Ok, good find - and confirmation of my suspicion- I think it’s just not loading within the profile and the new profile forces a new set of PIDs to load.

At idle speed the HP fuel pressure should be approximately 5-700 psi and the low pressure sensor should be at 2.3V. If it's not but your pressure is ok I would replace that sensor. They are a known failure mode when they read a different voltage than expected by stalling the engine.

Snappy - tends to round and drop the decimal places, also note the voltage reading is not listed on the Ford (Typical) PID charts and it is a reference to the duty cycle.

The PID charts do show - Typical Duty - Pressure
Idle - 23% - 69.47 PSI
30 MPH - 24% - 69.33 PSI
50 MPH - 25% - 70.49 PSI

Now I have not run a Live Data - (Drive- Under Loads) but when we bring in the - Duty Cycle (PID) and the OPs (Duty Cycle) at Idle & 3K - we can see that the LP Pump is being commanded (On) percentage longer (32%) to maintain the desired pressure, I think the desired pressure on his post is actually slightly bumped (up) as its being commanded to (compensate) for the low pressure output.
Meaning that the module is using the FRP as a primary and using that data to set the (Desired) it then commands the duty cycle LP Pump - to maintain or satisfy the FRP.

I would have to dig some on this, but I would say that the LP Pump duty cycle (Normal) should stay around 25% and anything higher would indicate that the pump is being commanded (On-Time) longer to keep or satisfy the FRP - feedback to the PCM

So if we only see or use his (Duty Cycle) as a ref of pump pressure, then the pump is working harder to maintain simple (idle) pressure

I need to do some research to confirm - the operation and duty cycle (control), but I think this is how the system operates and I can only confirm (normal) at idle readings from my scan tool samples - which I took samples of all PIDs as a reference to T-Shoot, I have a reference to (ALL) PIDs @ Idle and some I have Drive (Data) under Loads, but the fuel pump (Not Yet)

At 113,000 miles, and the neglect I've put this fuel pump through, its worth replacing the pump and sender assembly anyway.
I try to top off at half a tank. Habits from driving a diesel for years I guess. These pumps don't like running dry like the old mechanical pumps back in the 70s and such. Run the tank till she dies and flip tanks! I'd go down to a quarter if I had to but no further. At that point I'm packing extra gas cans!! 😁

It does, I've searchwd through all modules. With key word searvh for fuel and without using any keyword search and just scrolling through the entire list of PID's searching for anything closely related to actual fuel pressure from the low fuel pressure end. I will triple check all modules to see if i missed something.

Oh!!!! This may be exactly what I was dealing with! I will do this later tonight and report back.

Would certainly bring a calmness to my curiosity of the missing PID. But the new fuel pump is already in 😅, so unfortunately reading the live data won't determine the actual pressured produced by the old fuel pump anymore. But it would certainly be peace of mind to me to know i have the PID for any future related fuel problems.

Yes, i will confirm if your suspicion is the same for my setup too. Hopefully i have similar results and new feedback of PID's like Bill had. I appreciate all your guys' help! Sorry for the delay in responses, life is busy. I will keep you posted on the PID reset/search.
