Had this problem since day 1. I have the modem in my truck and internet works with no problems. The issue is that in the beginning, it would say on the screen when checking data usage that your data my be out of date. Called ATT and Fordpass guides about it. ATT found out my modem was working, but they were not receiving my data usage on their control center. It took them about a month to correct it. No on the ATT site, I can see my data usage on my truck. Now to FordPass. I now get a message a internet trial is available, both on the truck display, and FordPass app. Mind you, the internet works flawlessly. I have talked to FordPass numerous times, getting different answers on the problem with the display and FordPass app not showing data usage. I finally escalated to a fordpass supervisor. Still not showing data usage and not getting anymore messages from the supervisor about what is going on with my case. FordPass guides have been basically useless, I.e. different answers, transferring me to sync tech support. Sync tech support does not do anything with FordPass. I guess it is a trivial matter, but I do keep track of data usage and would like it to work correctly. Just frustrated with FordPass guides. Any help or experiences with others would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.

bought my ranger on 4/15, modem started acting funky about a week later, on sometimes, off sometimes, then totally died first week in may..............due to covid 19 and the plant being down havent had a working modem since.............

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since AT&T isn't able to see your usage at the control center, wouldn't that mean you can use as much data as you wish and they can't tell? Might not want to fix this problem. :)

That was correct. In the beginning, FordPass and att did not know whose issue it was. I basically gave myself away when I let att know and their tech team found it. If I knew there was an issue like that, I would have told them anyway. I’m honest with people and expect honesty in return.

Did you ever figure this out? I am having this same issue but I can see the usage via the ATT app, just not via Ford Connect app. Ford Guides keep bouncing me to In car tech department and they keep saying its a Ford Pass issue and bounce me back. This feature used to work until about a week ago.
