Hi all,

I have recently bought a 2020 Ranger Lariat with a salvaged title, I did my research and looked at pictures of the damage and concluded that I would take the risk and buy it. So far the truck has been fantastic its hard to tell that it has been damaged at all. The biggest issue I have is that its missing some of the air deflectors behind the grille. In the picture that I have attached, I've highlighted the pieces that seem to be missing.

I know that the pieces have a purpose otherwise they wouldn't be on the truck, but I'm wondering if they're integral to the function/longevity of the truck, or if I can get away without them.

Any insight or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

My first thought was to say that they are mostly there to help improve fuel efficiency. Looking at the parts in particular, I see that the centerpiece is named "Radiator Support Air Deflector," which may help redirect air toward the radiator to aid in the cooling process, but again, I am not 100% sure about that. The parts do not appear overly expensive, and I would say add them to the safe side for about $250 plus shipping unless you can grab them from a pick-and-pull.
