Does anyone know how to remove the mirror covers on a Lariat Tremor? I saw a video from Australia but apparently the T6 model is different than the North American T6

I did mine a couple weeks ago. Simple. I followed the one that said pry up between the painted cap and the bottom black part, where the mirror assemble folds-in/hinges. Then, from the front side, pull the mirror cap level and straight forward - towards the front of the truck. Start from the outside vertical edge, then work across the top.
It sure sounds like it is breaking. Both sides off, both repeaters swapped, and both sides back on in 10 minutes.

Use a spudger instead of a screw driver and you shouldnt damage the skullcap. The second time i break out the screw driver in the video it was not needed (I thought the bottom clips might have been engaged still), you just have to pull at the correct angle, gently wiggle it a bit.

yeah its much easier on the truck as the truck is the 3rd hand o hold the mirror.
Like Tim showed start at the lower inboard edge. Mine have been on and off a few times and now I can pull off with just my hands.

Thanks. That’s perfect. I’ll give it a shot. I hope the Lariat cap is the same in theory. It is different than the XLT.
