I ended up having mine fail, I didn’t get the recommendation when I bought them…. So back to factory side markers for me.
Guess I'll give it a shot with the grease and see if they pass the car wash test ?

Mine have been in for 3 months and passed the car wash test 3 times so far, but I did use DG on the connectors.

I’ll probably try again this summer, and I’ll use the grease this time now that I know about it. You’d think they would include a small little tube of it. Can’t be expensive and they should want them to work, right?
I agree 100%, I keep some on hand as I do all of my own electrical work that doesn't require specialized test equipment.

I agree 100%, I keep some on hand as I do all of my own electrical work that doesn't require specialized test equipment.
I know practically nothing about electronics so I'm glad they included a note. It's such a tiny amount needed, for the price they should absolutely include a little tube. I just installed mine, greased everything haha. Hoping it holds up because they look great.
