you know, i think society could take a lesson from us here at r5g. all of us are different in many ways like politics, backgrounds etc. but having a truck in common. that one thing brought us together and based on that one detail in common we have made friendships, shared support, advice, and dare one say love... for no other reason than simply being kind. Bravo Zulu R5G. its not Christmas day anymore but we sure seem to have the spirit!
Someplace around r5g

* https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/prayers-and-positive-thoughts-needed.19543/ *

is a thread I started when I really need some friendly words, positive thoughts, and prayers. It has not been active in a while - however, it is open to all of R5G. It is not just "my" thread, it is our thread. I invite anyone who is dealing with the rough things in life or simply just wants some positive vibes to please, feel free to post in it. now ive gushed enough...

WOW, I'm at a lost for words!

We went away for a few days, to visit some friends and family and just getting back to the computer now.

I think 9zero1790 touched on it. This Ranger 5G forum is a very good community. I mean the thoughts, well wishes, prayers and condolences from people I don't know (nor who know me/us) and we'll most likely never meet. INCREDIBLE and it may have helped us get through the Holidays, in some small way. I am forever thankful.

God bless and all the best to all of you in 2024!

I do feel that 2024 is already better due to this forum. It's too bad that our so called leaders can't get their act together and follow our lead in relating to others. This place is kind of an escape from reality. Best Wishes to all of you and your families and friends. :turkey: :turkey::turkey:

Maybe we need moderators at all levels of our governments to start giving time outs and start banning a few of them. ?

Beautiful family Rob. So glad to hear the forum touched your heart. When my wife had her cardiac arrest 3 years ago I got support here as well.

Happy new year.

Steve
So sorry to hear of your loss and also the manner in which it happened. I lost my first wife to cardiac arrest 2 years ago. She was 57 and had passed a physical a month earlier. She never knew what hit her, which is how she wanted to go.

No loss, she was one of the lucky 10% that survive since I started CPR immediately and kept going until the paramedics arrived. She has a defibrillator/ICD which has shocked her a couple times.
