I do enjoy the rain here because we get so little of it. But this cold damp stuff if for the birds. We get more benefit from snow up north then the rain so here's hoping they get hammered with a good amount of white stuff this winter. ?

We're nearby in San Leon until Monday. We went to the boardwalk last Saturday when it was pouring rain. It's a great area. Get to the San Jacinto monument when you get a chance.

What the heck it's cold and damp here (rained all day yesterday) only going to be 60 here today and mid 50's all week. I moved away from the east coast to get away from this and now it's following me! ??

Snowed here Christmas Eve. Nice and white covering today. More snow and then rain tomorrow. It’s New England, stick your head out and the weather changes. Brings back great memories of when I was a kid. My dad would go out in fresh snow Christmas Eve and make it look like a sleigh, Santa’s footprints and reindeer footprints all over our country driveway. Never did figure out how he pulled that off.
