Update take it in Tuesday for an in person estimate. Photo estimate has it at about $1800.00 which includes a new headlight assembly because a mounting tab is broken, fender & paint. They can't tell if they will have to repaint the bumper, if so price goes up. Door was hitting fender so I had to pull it out some.

Can confirm a turkey will put a hurting on a vehicle. Had one go through my windshield - THROUGH it - in Kentucky, back in nineteen hundred and eighty-six. Turkey was unfazed, pissed off, and loose in the back of my car. Pulled over, chopped its head off, and had turkey for dinner that night. Safe-lite didn't exist in it's current form, so the car was down for a week waiting on the shop to get a windshield. Turkey's are pretty stout under all those feathers.

Truth! The one I hit just had a little bloodshot area under one of it's wings. It would not fly, it had to be shot in the head. Then deep fried!

Update: Insurance adjuster was by. Provided there is no hidden damage, estimate comes in at $2134.57. Now I wait & see when I can get it in for repair. Don't take much nowadays.
