I have the Dynapro Hancock ATM 265/60 18” and Looking to replace my tires.

Question the tires in my size (BF Goodrich KO2) are on back order so was thinking of just getting one size up in the KO2 : LT265/65 18”

I will be towing a 4,000 lbs. travel trailer so thinking higher sidewall could improve handling the load. Im not raising or leveling. Would they rub?

Any opinions greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Mike

A member on this site (KnightRanger) is running 265/65/18 GY Duratec's. Don't believe he's running a lift.

5mm or about 3/16 ain't much different from the stock. Look at your spare it's a 17 and 65.

Check out the Nitto grapplers. I hear good things and will be going that route.

I had a set of KO2s on my Silverado and HATED them. They did well all around for about the first 15-20k miles but after that they were pure garbage in any slick road condition

Strange. What would you recommend then?

I'm kind of leaning towards the General GRABBER A/TX if I want a more off-road tire and Firestone Destination ATs, which I've had great luck with in the past even though they have a less aggressive tread pattern. I wasn't real impressed with a set of KO2s I had on my Tacoma, plus one of them busted a belt during mild off-roading.

I went with Falken Wildpeak's on my 2014 F150. these are always ranked near or at the top of REAL evaluations. not the magazine paid articles. Go to the off road forums and see what they have to say.

I would say the best LT tire I have used. Better than the GY or BFG in my opinion.

Of course my MPG tanked, but didnt care.

I’ve heard good things about the General Grabbers, one of my buddies has them on his Tacoma and they look pretty mean. I replaced my KO2s with Cooper AT3s and loved them
