Ok my Ranger on my trip to Mt. Rainier and Olympic National Parks. Sorry about the dirty Ranger. I met some friends from my Seattle office for a hike and it was a 15 mile gravel road up to the trail head. The lake is Quinault Lake.

Amateur “ham” radio field day. Last weekend in June where operators get together for 24 hours and practice operations for emergency preparedness mainly. Some clubs operated as many as 12 stations to one. My club had 2 stations running.
From Ohio I managed get contacts from Los Angeles, Texas, Maine, Florida, and anywhere in between.
Also Ontario and Quebec Canada.

Never seen that many bison before... is this some sort of safari?
We're in Custer State Park in South Dakota. There's a road you can drive on called the Wildlife Loop where you'll run into all these bison daily. Then past the Bison there's an area with prairie dogs and donkeys all out in the wild. If you're ever out there or looking for a really fun place to go I highly recommend this area of South Dakota. We were here last year for 5 days and there's so much to do and see here we came back for 2 weeks this year. There's a bunch more pictures of Custer State Park in my vacation thread starting here.

We help people sell their Rangers in the easiest way possible.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. One of my goals in life is to visit all 50 states and the Dakotas are hard to plan for, but now i've got this. Also love all the pictures you posted! Looks like a great trip for the family.

Thanks it's been a great trip! We really love it here in SD and even when we're not on the go it's great to just kick back and enjoy the clean fresh air out here. If you ever decide to go message me and I have a ton of info for the area both attractions and areas to stay.
