Any other owners with locking diff please chime in...

The other day I must have accidentally pressed the locking differential button by accident when I was installing a VHF radio (I'll post a separate thread about that).

I notice the rear tires scuffing pretty quickly...but it now occurs to me that there is no visual indicator that the diff is in the locked state.

I looked in the manual and I don't see anything. Am I missing something?

If there isn't any indicator then I think that is a big mistake...

On the dash, I have bumped mine before. Pretty sure it turns off at 45mph and then comes back on below 45 if it is still engaged.

OK - Just went out for a spin and I now see the orange icon on the dash.

Sorry for the confusion. But I think a light built into the switch would have been nice.

you are correct except that the speed is off at 25 and back on around 20mph.
