Lock Fob in Truck

If it's like my Subaru, then the fob has to be within 12 or so inches to work. Any further away and it won't unlock by touch.

When I got my hitchsafe I tested it out, and it is about 3 feet, give or take. But the hitch is DEFINITELY out of range. Originally, I thought I'd need a faraday cage bag for the fob, but it is not needed. You can put the fob on the tailgate and the doors won't open.
