Last night I hauled another full load of closely stacked oak firewood. I went several inches above the edge of the bed, but not so much my rearview was completely blocked. I made a before and after squat measurement and got a difference of about 2 1/8". Really not missing my F-150. The Ranger does everything I need and is more powerful.

a stacked cord is 4' wide, X 4' high, X 8' long, that would weight about 3500 in dry wood.
your bed probably holds 1/4 of a cord so that was around 900 lbs load.
