Had my XL made to order and received it back in May of 2019. I have put 35,000 miles on it and still love it! I want to get my Steel wheels coated with Line-x both for protection and I think it will look cool in black.

just want some feedback on anybody’s experience with this. Thank you!

I would imagine that you may have an issue with balancing, mounting the tire on the wheel and mounting the wheel on the truck. Additionally, Line-X isn't always the easiest surface to keep clean...especially if you go off-road. Certain mud can stain. I'd make sure you use the high gloss type to help minimize the staining and provide a good resilient surface.

I agree it'd look awesome but those would be my concerns.

If you get it done, please report back.

I hate black wheels. Looks like the best you could do is buy (4) spare tires.

It used to be called "Ghetto" back in the day.

I'd either pay for a reputable powder-coater to refinish them or clean and paint them yourself. Truck-bed liner may cause balancing issues, but not likely. But, if you damage the bed liner finish and then repair it, it will more then likely cause balance issues.
