I consider Lincoln in a tough spot so I don't blame them for trying crazy ideas. That being said I doubt this would be a successful venture.

IMO Lincoln should focus on aesthetic appeal (a different, cohesive body and interior style) with premium materials (real wood, leather, speakers) and rely upon high-graded Ford power train components for the car. They should top this off with a much improved customer experience by focusing on seamless and trustworthy service (not just sales).

Trying to introduce a 'luxury' version of a Ford product like a Bronco is a dumb play. It's always a cheap luxury-adjacent veneer. Think GMC/Chevy.

Lincoln owners? No offense intended, but the only off road they'll see will be the drive way.
If people like how it looks, they will buy it.

And many truck owner also. Let's face it most don't off road with their and still get the 4x4 and add all the extras to it. Not that there's anything wrong with that because everyone should customize their trucks to what they like. I was all set to buy a Raptor but after my accident and getting my Tremor I see no need for spending all that extra money now. Sure it'd be nice but I'll (and most won't) ever get the full use of out one. But hey, we still need those mall crawlers because those curbs are getting higher even year. lol
