I put a BSD 2” level lift with BFG 265/70/R17s. Thank you!!
I saw your truck in your other thread... a level and tires made a huge difference!
Leveling kit badly needed... other than that, I’m surprised how much I love this truck! I’ve had it for a few weeks now.
Picked this up in Oregon 2 weeks ago, got it all washed for the first time since getting it home before it gets a BDS 2" leveling kit and new wheels and tires.
You will like how much of a difference just the 2” BDS kit makes. Huge difference on mine.
Your truck is what made me look into (and eventually buy) that kit, I’m looking forward to it!
Here's mine, picked up a couple of weeks ago, XLT FX4 w/Sport Package. I'll be using it mostly for commuting about 30 miles roundtrip each day, towing a car trailer a few times out of the year, and some offroad/camping trips, near and far. For proper offroading, I'm considering springing for Ford's Performance suspension upgrade, Shrockworks sliders. and some tires down the road, likely 265/70/17s, not so big that I'd have to make modifications underneath.
I've added a Ford bedmat and impact hard folding cover, and these are working very well. I've already used it to tow my 3,500-lb. car trailer 600 miles two weekends ago, and the rig performed flawlessly - the torque from the turbo-four was awesome, as was Trailer Mode. One issue that I've had with the truck was its Sync3's inability to auto-update. After some research on the forums, I manually downloaded the update from Ford's owner website onto a USB drive, inserted that into one of the truck's USB ports, and presto, updated, problem solved.
So far, I LOVE the truck!
New Fuel Rebel D680 wheels and BFG 285/70R17 KO2tires to go with the BDS Suspension 2" level kit. Ran out of daylight so I'll get some better pictures soon
That looks great! What wheels are those?
Nice! What's the size and offset of those wheels? Also, any rubbing with those chunky tires?
17X9 Fuel Off Road Rebel 5 D680's
These are the wheels, did some trimming so it won't rub.
