Has anyone installed the Lightforce panel. I installed one today and can not for the life of me get the new panel to lay flush. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Horrible picture but I think y’all get the issue. It’s on both the left and right side. Really bummed it doesn’t sit flush.

Yeah. Super crap pix. These aren’t much better. The original panel is further back than the new panel. I can seem to find a way to get that new one further back or the original further forward.

Doesn't look like it's positioned correctly. I'd take it back off and try again. To me, looks too low and cocked.

I found when I did mine I had to make sure to align the lowest clips first and then slowly press the rest into place.

The 12v outlets on the other hand I broke the shit out of and had to order new black cover pieces.

I’ve taken it out several times. I was sure the alignment posts went in first and clip everything in like the original panel. Is there a possibility I got one that’s BO?

Not sure. Mines off by a hair but you can't tell, just my OCD. You have both side panels off when putting the Lightforce in, right?

Yes sir. Both panels off. I’m trying to figure out how to push the upper panel out since I can’t get the Lightforce to go further in.

I never installed one, but does that area have any flex to it? Maybe a heat gun to soften it a reshape to fit?

I've got one of these installed, but I don't recall running into any fitment issues. Mine sits perfectly flush.

It's possible that it's not seating correctly at the rear of the panel, pushing those corners out.

Also get a vacuum and some 303 on that console before Dave sees it and bans you. That's disgusting.

Check to make sure you don't have any clips or anything stuck in the clip holes that's keeping it from going where it's supposed to. I lost a clip when I pulled off the OEM panel and had to steal one from another OEM tab to install the LF.

Also, check the routing for the 12v wires to see if they're getting pinched somewhere as you press the panel in.

Best of luck!
