After installing the 2" level on my Tremor, I'm now noticing the little white plastic "cap" on top of the fox shocks is visible. I didn't take note if it was visible prior to doing the job. I'm not sure what the proper name for it is, but it's right on top of the black plastic sleeve. I feel like I can slide both up and down on the shock. Anyone else notice this or am I just being extra paranoid that I messed something up? I just want to be sure everything is seated correctly.

Let us know how the CVs look in 10k miles please.
I would be curious to see how she holds up. I am guessing things will be ok considering the popularity of the 2.5" on regular Rangers, but still curious.

Genuine question:
What's the difference from putting a 2" lift on a standard ranger and putting it on a Tremor?

Also. OP, don't forget to adjust your head lights.

The Tremor is a little higher in the front than an FX4 for example. I think it is about 0.5" or so. Coffee has not kicked in yet...

The Tremor has fox 2.0 suspension and different spindles. Other than that I don't think there's anything different. The process should be the same.

From what i've heard its not quite the standard Fox 2.0 suspension, its a little different and doesn't sit as high from the factory as the 2.0 kit. On the product pages for the Fox 2.0, they say that you gain a lift of about 1" on a tremor vs the 2" on a regular Ranger.

I have a tremor its .8 inches on my truck. Fox told me it was due to settling. They said the shocks are approximately 1 inch but they all settle to .8 inch. If that helps any. I bought fox 2.5 "adjustable and fox says 1.5 "inches is the max the 3 " adjustable shocks will lift a tremor.

Nope. Tremor is 1.5-2" higher. I've measured a FX4 with Tremor wheels and tires. Mine was 1.75" higher.

OP did you get an alignment if so how does it look?

The .8" number that is thrown around is ground clearance from the tires.

It's more like .75" but they rounded up.

I did get an alignment done and everything looks great. The truck has the exact stance I was going for now, I'm very happy. Drives nice and straight, no funky noises or vibrations.

Only thing I'm disappointed in is the surface rust on a few spots of the spindles and on a couple spots where I removed the crash bars. I made another post looking for a product to remove or convert the rust that is safe for suspension components. IIRC, the surface rust is common with the cast iron spindles of the tremor.

Rust-Oleum rust convertor followed by regular Rust-Oleum.
