Front shock dumb question...

If I just want to replace the stock front shock (use stock spring) does the entire shock/spring assembly have to come out? I’m 99.9% sure the answer is yes.....just debating if I want to do all that work. Haha!

Yes it does because it is a strut design. Now if you are to use the factory spring I think the only company that allows that is Eibach. Not a bad option especially if you are staying on the street.
